The team plays in the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario. Their team colors are royal blue, white and silver. Toronto teams have worn blue since the 1873 adoption of the color by the Canadian Football League. They are officially known as the Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Club.
The franchise has seen 13 Stanley Cup wins over its history, with five Division Championships as well. From 1962 to 1964, the team won three Stanley Cups in a row. Hall of Famers Frank Mahovlich, Dave Keon, Andy Bathgate, Red Kelly, Johnny Bower and Tim Horton helped them achieve that feat, as did new ownership.
During the 1980s, the team would have 12 years of losing seasons, until the 1992-93 season. The lowest point was in 1984-85, when they finished 32 games under .500. Their winning percentage was the lowest in their history, at .300. Despite their low performance, the team commonly made it to the playoffs.
